Visitor information for Wadebridge in Cornwall

Wadebridge, home of the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Show and annual Folk Festival, and within minutes of beautiful countryside where you will find many interesting walks and trails, including the former Bodmin and Wadebridge Railway, now a 26-mile level walk and cycle path known as the Camel Trail. There are bike hire shops within the town centre.

At Wadebridge the Camel is spanned by the 320-foot, 17-arched Bridge on Wool, reputedly built on a foundation of woolsacks.
A few miles to the south, in St Columb Major, one of the most impressive churches in Cornwall can be found - with its 600-year-old, four-tiered tower providing a piece of living history. Only 2 1/2 miles from here is the Iron Age fort of Castle an Dinas with its three ramparts.
