Newquay will be celebrating St. Piran’s Day with a fun packed schedule of activities across the weekend of Sunday 4th and Monday 5th March.

There will be music and song on Saturday 4th with Cornish singing in Central Square with the Newquay Rowing Club Singers, followed by Oll An Gwella Male Chorus live on Gover Lane. The musical celebrations will continue outside Newquay Library.

The traditional St. Piran’s Day parade will take place from 3pm outside The Cribbar on Gover Lane, featuring music and dance, as it makes its way up to Marcus Hill. More performances will take place outside the Town Council Offices and in St. Michaels Church, where refreshments will be provided.

Sunday 4th March 2018 (St. Piran’s Eve):
The St. Pirans Day Eve Concert will start at 10.30am in St Michaels Church. There will be an evening service from 7pm – St Piran’s Eve Cornish Concert.
Monday 5th March 2018 (St. Piran’s Day):
From 4pm there will be the St Piran’s Day parade from the Killacourt to Gover Lane. At 4.30pm the parade will end at Cribbar, Gover Lane where there will be a Finale. There will then be a Cornish ceilidh at Newquay Rowing Club from 7pm to complete the annual St Piran’s Day festivities.
